One More For Today...

One more Christmas card while I'm in a holiday mood.......Linnecards Christmas Card A Day Challenge 12...Paper Piecing. I love paper piecing.....so this card was one of my favorites to do....and the littler snowperson really doesn't have smudges on her snow....it's just the scanner gremlins working overtime again.

The Christmas Season Is Starting....

This is a card done for one of Linnecards Christmas Card A Day Challenges.......Challenge No#3 was to use rubons....I used Imaginisce and Doodlebug Minis. The rhinestones on the card are all in shades of blue...my scanner (Showing the rhinestones in black) obviously needs glasses. :)

Card Crazy Challenges.....

The first challenge with the CCC (Card Crazy Chicks) was to follow a sketch supplied by Tanja www.ozziesgreetingcardsbytanja.blogspot.com/ in her blog list it's listed as Card Challenge One-Christmas........ three centered circles on a ribbon split patterned background. We were to use two different papers and the circles were to be in the center.

I followed the sketch almost completely....I just angled the circles a bit and turned them into ornaments.

More Linnecards Christmas Card Challenges...

Card Challenges At Linnecards....

Linnecards has a Christmas Card Challenge going on.....it started November 1st and goes until the 30th....but there's plenty of time left to use the challenges to get some hand created Christmas cards done before you need to mail them out. Here's one of my cards (For Challenge #16).....this challenge was to create a card that was not a rectangle or a square....I used a snowflake shape.

Yesterday Was "Button Day"!

Button Day was yesterday ,November 16th. I'm one day late.....but I've collected buttons since my Mom had a button jar when I was small...and I want to celebrate...so here's a button decorated Christmas card to commemorate Button Day 2008.

The scan is a touch blurry...my scanner was not awake yet this morning when I used it.

This Year's Thanksgiving Card....

My turkey is all dressed up in her Pink Paislee feathers for Thanksgiving Day and is just waiting for someone to ask her over for dinner.....she might want to rethink that.

I found this card in a box while I was cleaning out my scraproom (A cleaning job that took two days because I kept finding things that I forgot that I had...) It was made for Linnecards at Thanksgiving time last year.

I'm in love with this discontinued Quickutz turkey die.....I call him my "Naked Chicken/Turkey" because his body looks like a featherless chicken.
